Endophytes are the richest form of enzymes and secondary metabolites. Industry needs higher enzyme producers as well as secondary metabolites, including antiquorum sensing molecules. The present study was undertaken to determine the ability of endophytic fungi for enzyme production and antiquorum sensing molecules. Endophytic fungi were isolated from Ventilago madraspatana and enzyme production was estimated by spectrophotometric and plate assay methods. The quorum sensing inhibitors were screened by the ability of metabolites to suppress the expression of violacein production in Chromobacterim violaceum wild and mutant types. The results indicate the presence of highly active protease in Fusarium sporotrichioides and quorum sensing inhibitors in Fusarium graminearum and Lasidiplodia sp., exhibited by a decrease in violacein production.
