Abstract
► Retrieval-induced forgetting is a memory effect similar to interference between outcomes. ► We tried to find a similar effect with an interference-between-cues design. ► Our results show the same inhibitory effect in the two types of interference. ► RIF and both types of interference might share some common mechanisms.
