Abstract
The purpose of this document is to justify including the dietician-nutritionist in the multi-disciplinary, specialist and public health primary care teams which give integrated health care based on their particular role in promoting, preventing, treating and rehabilitating diseases that prevail in Spain, thereby benefiting the citizens' individual and collective health.
