Abstract
The fundatrices of the five species of Periphyllus (Hemiptera: Aphididae) living on Acer platanoides, Norway maple, in Poland have been morphologically studied and fundatrices of two species described for the first time. A discriminant analysis of the morphometric data of the fundatrices shows the most important morphometric characters separating these species. An identification key is provided.
