Abstract
▶ Photoperiodic response controlling summer diapause in Colaphellus bowringi is inheritable. ▶ The capacity for diapause is genetically transmitted in a manner of incomplete dominance. ▶ Genetic and genetic-environmental interactions are involved in diapause induction. ▶ Maternal effects on diapause induction are stronger than paternal effects.
