Abstract

This paper deals with the decentralized control problem for a class of switched nonlinear large-scale systems with immeasurable states and actuator dead-zone. A switched state observer is designed to obtain the estimation of the immeasurable states. Under the parallel distributed compensation (PDC) design method, an output feedback decentralized controller is developed. In addition, the switching laws are also designed via using the multiple Lyapunov function method. The sufficient conditions of ensuring the closed-loop systems asymptotic stabilization are given and transformed into standard solvable linear matrix inequality (LMI). An example is provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the suggested theoretical results.
