Abstract

This paper is concerned with the stochastic synchronization problem in an array of neural networks with hybrid nonlinear coupling, which is composed of constant coupling, discrete-delay coupling and distributed-delay coupling. By employing the Lyapunov functional method and the Kronecker product technique, some less conservative delay-dependent conditions are obtained to ensure the stochastic synchronization of the systems, and the coupling terms of the models being studied are all nonlinear. These conditions are derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities and can be easily checked. Finally, several numerical examples are given to show the effectiveness of the proposed methods.
