Abstract
⺠Fusarium graminearum genome contain three type B, three type C, and one type D FAE genes. ⺠FAE genes have complex expression patterns unique to each gene. ⺠FAEB1 and FAEC1 are induced by ferulic acid and related aromatic compounds. âºÂ FAEB1 and FAED are the key FAE genes expressed during growth on wheat. ⺠FAEB1 and FAED are not required for pathogenicity on wheat.
