Abstract
Recent collections are reported of the downy mildew Bremia lactucae on Arctium lappa (Greater Burdock), representing a new host genus for this fungus in the British Isles, are reported. Several other hosts recently recorded as new to Britain are also reported, these being additional species of already known host genera.
