Reduction of slow-fast asymptotically autonomous systems with applications to gradostat models

► We present a dimension reduction result for slow-fast asymptotically autonomous systems showing how to use it step by step. ► These results apply also to slow-fast systems with periodic and asymptotically autonomous terms. ► We provide two applications: to consumer-resource and competition models in a gradostat. ► We outline further classes of applications.
