Abstract
⺠A method for pest population size evaluation has been investigated for high aggregated pest insect population. ⺠It has been shown that, if the number of traps is small, an estimate of the mean density becomes a random variable. ⺠A probability of an accurate estimate has been obtained for a single peak density distribution.
