Abstract
⺠There are many ways to classify species into groups in species-rich ecosystems. ⺠Five species classifications for the same rain forest were compared. ⺠A consensus regarding the potential size of trees was found. ⺠No consensus regarding light requirement was found. ⺠A few carefully chosen species traits are enough to classify species.
