Abstract
⺠Size-based indicators intend to capture fishing impacts. ⺠A population model assessed size-based indicators. ⺠The best indicators were the maximum size of observed individuals. ⺠Size-structure of the simulated population related to population biomass. ⺠The size-structure of overfished populations should improve if biomass recovers.
