Abstract
⸠We examine variability of ecological classifications of stream diatoms and macroinvertebrates. ⸠Ecological condition is different among tributaries and main channel. ⸠Ecological classifications differ among the two taxonomic groups. ⸠Diatom classifications are temporally variable. ⸠Ecological condition is weakly related to stressor gradients.
