Abstract
⸠P. oceanica is a sensitive bioindicator for the nineteen trace elements studied. ⸠Most elements were preferentially accumulated in photosynthetic parts of leaves. ⸠DRC ICP-MS allows us to measure the background level of all trace elements. ⸠The spatial variations can be related with anthropogenic activities. ⸠The third intermediate leaf can be used alone in chemical biomonitoring.
