Abstract
⺠A new method for creating maps of vulnerability against forest fires. ⺠Emphasis is placed on the severity of fiires in urban-wildland interface areas. ⺠Vegetation presents a high correlation with fire intensity levels. ⺠Fire density is associated with road proximity. ⺠A spatial growth in fire severity is confirmed.
