Abstract
⺠We explored the effects of inter-specific variability on biomass allocation. ⺠Hierarchical Bayesian method has been used to approach this objective. ⺠The inclusion of species identity could significantly decrease the allocation slopes. ⺠Species with large sample size usually had relatively small allometric slopes.
