Abstract
⺠Conservation often occurs in areas where multiple agents are undertaking conservation actions. ⺠Our simulation study has 2 agents purchasing land sequentially to conserve multiple species. ⺠Costs and benefits of collaboration are explored when agents have divergent or overlapping objectives. ⺠Our model demonstrates the value of collaboration can vary significantly in different situations. ⺠Collaborating has associated costs, which need to be weighed against benefits from collaboration.
