Abstract
⺠BIOMAS allows users to develop fisheries population models for management strategy evaluations. ⺠Theoretically capable of modelling any number of species, fleets and spatial compartments. ⺠Allows management and environmental effects on stocks as well tracking of fleet costs and revenue. ⺠Allows users to easily run sensitivity analyses on all model parameters. ⺠Models can include stochastic processes and errors as well as Bayesian priors on important parameters.
