Abstract
⺠We compared ecological compatibility of Carapa guianensis timber and seed harvests. ⺠Some populations may be suitable for extraction of seeds, timber, or both. ⺠Results differed between forest types. ⺠10% annual seed harvests were compatible with timber extraction every 50 years.
