Abstract
⺠A model for simulating cotton fiber length and strength formation was developed. ⺠Effect of temperature-radiation was modeled as a function of photo-thermal product. ⺠Effect of N nutrient was modeled as a function of subtending leaf N concentration. ⺠The interactive effect of N nutrition and PTP are also described. ⺠The model well explained the observed genotypic and environmental variations.
