Abstract
⺠We modelled decision trees to predict the distribution of the pike in Flemih streams. ⺠The prediction of the pike was acceptable based on two model evaluations. ⺠Nevertheless the prediction will be further improved by including more variables. ⺠The habitat variables had more contribution to the prediction of pike than the water quality ones. ⺠These models can as such encourage river managers to make the necessary investments and/or activity changes as desired by society.
