Abstract
⺠The proposed control method for multispecies Lotka-Volterra model by control of birth/death rate is based upon changing the value of an energy-like ecosystem invariant. ⺠Ability of control to significantly change oscillations amplitude with a small control signal is confirmed both by theory and by simulations. ⺠Control is robust with respect to parameter changes preserving equilibria. ⺠Control improves stability of oscillatory behavior by increasing its distance from boundaries of population survival area.
