Abstract
⺠Human activities have various, direct and indirect effects on biodiversity. ⺠We model the use of various resources by an ecological community. ⺠The model was used to simulate the effects of various human induced constraints. ⺠Human induced constraints may have contrasting effects on biodiversity metrics. ⺠Classification of constraints should be based on their effect rather than their cause.
