Abstract
⺠DOC in forest streams is controlled by basin topography and hydrothermal controls. ⺠DOC concentrations increase with increasing wet-area portion per basin. ⺠DOC lags stream discharge, and this lag increases with catchment area. ⺠The DOC concentrations and fluxes can be quantified using the DOC-3 model. ⺠This quantification was done for 11 streams and 1 lake, and from 5 to 18 years.
