Abstract
⺠Changes caused by forest recovery filter different groups of plant traits. ⺠Light intensity has the greatest effect on trait modes variation. ⺠Traits related to acquisitive strategies are indicators of young stands. ⺠Traits associated to small vernal geophytes differentiate intermediate-aged stands. ⺠Traits associated to retention strategies are indicators of mature stands.
