Abstract
⺠Pipeline digging changes steppe soil chemistry to a lesser extent than cultivation. ⺠After pipeline work, vegetation is composed of weedy plant species. ⺠Thirty years after pipeline work, vegetation is composed of annual and perennial species. ⺠Thirty years after pipeline work, target steppe species are still missing. ⺠This study confirms the low resilience of Mediterranean steppe community.
