Abstract
► The species studied exhibited great tolerance to the short-term effects of the storm. ► The loss of nests was higher in the first and second years following the disturbance. ► We found no differences in reproductive parameters before and after of the storm. ► Tolerance shown by these three species to windstorms could be an adaptive response.
