Abstract
⺠Metabolic rates of isopods are influenced both by body size and habitat trophic status. ⺠Body condition index in each population vary with habitat trophic status. ⺠The increase in metabolic rates probably depends on a higher resource availability. ⺠Results seems to agree with food habits hypothesis.
