Abstract
⺠Succession and seasonality of Central European coprophilous beetles were studied. ⺠The succession is more rapid than in other ephemeral habitats and cooler regions. ⺠The temporal segregation of coprophilous beetles reflects their resource utilization. ⺠The seasonality is more pronounced in late successional guilds and species. ⺠Species successional sequence is likely to be fixed in species coevolution.
