Abstract
⺠Food tracking by birds is expected if fruit availability change in space and time. ⺠We examined the fruit availability pattern along an altitudinal gradient. ⺠Fruiting peaks data were neither predictable and nor complementary. ⺠There was no relationship between fruit production and bird capture rates. ⺠Birds do not track fruit resources along the gradient.
