Abstract
⺠Eastern redcedar encroachment of oak forests reduced litter N and C. ⺠Microbial phospholipid composition differed between oak and eastern redcedar plots. ⺠Eastern redcedar encroachment of oak forest increased AM fungi. ⺠Eastern redcedar-associated AM fungi may benefit encroachment over oak EM fungi.
