Abstract
⺠We demonstrate facilitation and resource competition between two nematode species. ⺠Different sublethal levels of cadmium pollution affect their ecological interactions. ⺠Elevated cadmium concentrations strongly reduce population abundance of one species. ⺠Reduced competition leads to higher fitness of one species at increased pollution.
