Abstract
► We compare rhizosphere effects of two coniferous species and its response to warming. ► We examine changes of soil properties associated with soil N transformations. ► P. asperata has greater rhizosphere effects on N cycling compare to A. faxoniana. ► Warming markedly enhance soil N mineralization and availability of two tree species. ► P. asperata has greater magnitude of rhizosphere effects in response to warming.
