Abstract
⺠Marine protected areas for seabirds should be of ecological significance for them. ⺠Ship-based surveys and tracking techniques can provide information on behaviour. ⺠Densities corrected for behaviour may highlight areas of ecological importance. ⺠We show examples of standard output and results where feeding activity was logged. ⺠Integrated data produce more specific advice on the ecological importance of areas.
