Abstract
⺠We examine implications of body size for mammal rediscovery effort and outcomes. ⺠There has been a decline in body size of rediscovered mammals over time. ⺠Small species attract less search effort and conservation effort. ⺠Small species have poor conservation outcomes after rediscovery.
