Abstract
► Comparison of two artificial wetlands set up in a tile-drained watershed to mitigate pesticide pollution. ► In stream, large, deep and non-planted artificial wetland contributes to dilute high pesticide concentrations. ► Innovative off-stream, small, shallow and planted artificial wetland improves degradation conditions to reduce efficiently pesticide fluxes. ► Off-stream artificial wetland is a promising solution to attenuate pesticide contamination in agricultural catchments.
