Abstract
⺠Amendments of ferulic acid had inhibitory effects on cucumber seedling growth. ⺠Amendments of ferulic acid had stimulatory effects on soil microbial communities. ⺠Bacteria and fungi communities responded differently to the ferulic acid amendment. ⺠Ferulic acid could induce autotoxicity through changing soil microbial communities.
