Abstract
⺠We use AFLP markers to confirm parthenogenesis in two Taiwanese earthworms. ⺠We found that the two earthworms are automictic (meiotic) parthenogens. ⺠There was no sperm in any of the spermathecae examined. ⺠Fecundity and/or fertility of both species were not high.
