Abstract
⺠Land use affected the taxa richness of meso- and macro-fauna but not microbes. ⺠Fungi, nematode and earthworms show positive congruency in richness and similarity. ⺠Potential indicators identified across different groups of soil taxa. ⺠Separate sets of taxa useful as bioindicators in agricultural and extensive land.
