Abstract
⺠Soil temperature is decisive factor of soil CO2 efflux in semiarid forest-steppe. ⺠Clear thresholds of moisture effects on temperature sensitivity were identified. ⺠The best model was the Gaussian temperature function with interactive moisture effect. ⺠High impact of model selection on calculated efflux was at moisture extremities.
