Abstract
⺠Bacteria of cultivated soils developed tolerance to Cu, Zn and Cd. ⺠Bacterial tolerance depended on metal concentration and length of cultivation. ⺠Metal tolerance in fungi was higher than bacteria and independent from the length of cultivation. ⺠Bacteria were more sensitive to Cd than Cu and Zn.
