Abstract
⺠DBT is an endocrine disruptor in zebrafish. ⺠In vivo, DBT exposure decreases zfCYP19a, zfERβ1 and FST mRNA in the gonads. ⺠In vitro, DBT exposure inhibits testosterone induced luciferase activity. ⺠In vitro, DBT exposure increases ethinylestradiol induced luciferase activity. ⺠DBT's MOA is complex and may be due to the metabolism of DBT to MBT.
