Abstract
⺠First study on predator diet cues in a coral reef fish. ⺠A component of the prey chemical cue may not completely degrade during digestion. ⺠Magnitude of response to faecal cues not different to pure chemical cue. ⺠Predator diet cues label individual predator species as dangerous or risky.
