Abstract
⺠Rock sole nurseries have less density and more predation than English sole nurseries. ⺠We compare the response of rock sole and English sole to density and predation risk. ⺠Rock sole change habitats to avoid high densities and predation risk. ⺠English sole tolerate high density and do not move to avoid predation risk. ⺠Each species' behavior matches the density and predation conditions of its nursery.
