Abstract
⺠Shrimp-farm discharges reduced biodiversity changing biotic structure of ecosystem. ⺠Food chain lengths were not affected directly but trophic linkages appeared reduced. ⺠Sediments, macroalgae and benthic algae exhibited significant enrichment of δ15N. ⺠δ15N was a better descriptor of shrimp-farm on coastal lagoon food web than δ13C.
