Abstract
⺠The effect of temperature on growth and reproduction in benthic foraminifera has been evaluated. ⺠We find that seawater temperature strongly affects growth and reproduction in benthic foraminifera. ⺠The optimum temperature for growth and reproduction is different. ⺠Though the growth is not linearly related with temperature, warm conditions led to a bigger size. ⺠Specimens subjected to extremely cold or warm conditions reproduced abnormally.
