Abstract
ResumenSe presenta un resumen sobre la diversidad de las Pteridophyta s. lat. (Monilophyta y Lycophyta) y su importancia en la flora mexicana. El análisis está basado en publicaciones recientes, principalmente The Pteridophytes of México, el volumen I de la serie Flora Mesoamericana y el portal Tropicos.org., del Missouri Botanical Garden, EUA.
A summary of the diversity of the Pteridophyta s. lat. (Monilophyta and Lycophyta) and its importance for the Mexican flora is presented. The analysis is based on recent publications, especially The Pteridophytes of Mexico, volume I Psilotaceae to Salviniaceae of Flora Mesoamericana and from the internet portal Tropicos.org, of the Missouri Botanical Garden, USA.
