Abstract
⺠Three methods for simulating crops under water and saline stress conditions are compared. ⺠FAO-56 methodology was adopted for developing MOPECO-Salt Model. ⺠Leaching fraction is not always required for avoiding soil salinization. ⺠Rainfall after irrigation season may wash soluble salts and saving irrigation water. ⺠Not applying leaching can be profitable although it may cause yield drop.
