Abstract
ⶠA private dam safety management regulatory mix design/review model has been developed. ⶠThe model is based on international benchmarks ranging from minimum to best practice. ⶠA cost-effective spillway safety engineering/accounting tool complements the model. ⶠProvides clear analysis of social/environmental costs and threats from farm dams. ⶠAny jurisdiction can apply the model; application demonstrated via Australian cases.
